The 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is here, as Ivory Coast is set to host the tournament from January 13 to February 11.

While the event is taking place in 2024, it will officially bear the title of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, having been rescheduled from last summer due to Ivory Coast's rainy season. Defending champion Senegal is back in the competition, joining favorites such as Morocco, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Algeria, and Nigeria.

The top two teams from each of the six groups will progress to the round of 16, accompanied by the best four third-placed teams.
